We had a large pod around us this year (maybe 40) off Puffin Island North Wales..........June 27th don't ask how I can remember the date!!

Once spent an hour or so just watching a mother with her newborn pup! in of all places the entrance to Pwllheli marina.

Fantastic creatures and I don't know anybody who isn't pleased to see them when out on the boat.

We have had similal experiences on two occasions in september and october this year same dolphin followed us into workington outer harbour played around the boat and then accompanied us to maryport a very uplifting experiance if not a little humbleing.
unusual sensation on the tiller when he started to nudge the rudder.
same dolphin has been reported around following its stay in maryport marina a year ago /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
