Does this give you an adrenaline rush?

Jeeze! I have to admit, that does!!!! But werent some of the peeps hurt? Badly, especially the one whp ended up upside down in the cockpit?

Re: No it doesn\'t

Not even when I'm doing it. A watch of this stuff is OK but it can go on for days. The only adrenaline rush I get from this stuff is when something goes wrong.

As a big boat crew member in open ocean it gives you cuts and bruises and the chances of a serious injury a long way from home. Your pretty soon wet and cold with your eyes full of salt. You often end up short handed to. Any job becomes a labour of Hercules.

If your the skipper it's about as stressful as it gets. You have to be particularly singleminded.

Like so many aspects of adventure sailing it makes for great memories and tales for the bar. Tony Blair would like this sort of sailing. It gives defered success.
