Kim,
As a regular user from "the old days" I have now.deceided to return to the Forum to trash "surveyors and negligence etc" again. NO that is an untruth, that is all in the past and now I look to the future BUT what a complicated method of keeping in touch with the Forum , I suppose it is to keep out all the "Bad Dudes".

This thread could well be entitled from "riches to rags" . So having disposed of the remains of my sunken Gin Pallace ( the subject of numerous past posts) I am going in for "sticks and rags." Being a young 61 I am now embarking on a new adventure, but I think that it must be said from the start that I unreservidly appologise to all "Raggies" for cutting them up in the past with the big bow wave. In the last 12 months on my leval 1 and 2 Dingy (yes I want to learn to sail proper) I have been capsised in a Wayfarer and washed overboard from a Topper by my (exe) mates. It aint funny lads, remember I am an O.A.P. and as such deserve some respect!!! Looking on the bright side I did Sea Survival last week, and it included 2 young ladies from a cruise liner ( you know the type, slim , bonzed ,blond, 20ish) yes Pauline I am am a MSP. From the start bets were on as to how long the fake suntan would take to wash off, it lasted about 30 mins. The only trouble with Sea Survival courses is that when you swim for the raft the slim girls get there first but dont have the strength to get in. Luckily my friend Bruce and I were close up behind (yes). My heart is OK for my age so Bruce and I placed a hand on Left and Right buttock (one each) and propelled the "tottie" straight into the 12 man, you could say this was "first hand instructuion". Its good to be back Kim will try not to cause too many waves.

Mike

Sorry it does...

...for exactly the reason I have just had to remove the immediate answers to your post (although in fact I'm not sure we've really made it that complicated at all).

Welcome back Mike.

Colvic, if you have an immediate court action pending I would appreciate you keeping the details out of this forum both for your sake and our sanity.

Re: Sorry it does...

Great to be back Kim and thanks for all your help in the past. I never named names and never will on any Forum.

Tell me the secret of how you become an OAP at 61, although it's too late for me. I had to wait until I was 65 before getting my bus pass!
From your adventures with the young ladies I am assuming you are not female who get theirs at 60
