No, but I did make my own cables to connect a Pactor IIex to my Icom 802. It was very simple as it was a 8pin Din - 8pin Din and a RS232 to RS232 for the remote tuning.
I couldn't be bothered with soldering onto plugs so bought a couple of complete cables and cut them, work out which wire corresponded to which pin (use a multimeter with a 'beep' for low resistance) and then solder the correctly coloured wires together.
The Pactor documentation was very good, and I got the radio reference from the web, so it was easy to know which pins had to be connected, and it was only 5 of the 8 in the DIN and 3 of the 9 in the RS232.
Be careful to work out whether the diagrams are showing the plug or socket as I got my numbering reversed first time round and nothing worked until I realised my error.
Hi. You can find some reference to connecting Furuno 1503 to PTC2* modems in AirMail Help file. If I remember correctly the 1503 can't operate at 100% duty cycle - it overheats. Maybe the 1550 overcomes that problem...Most of our pactor connections work perfectly well at reduced RF o/p of 20/30W. You could try contacting AirMail author directly regarding 1550 & PTC2-usb - he may well be able to provide all the necessary parameter settings as well as conections. SCS do provide made up cables for many radios as do hfradio.com.
