Perhaps I'm tinkling into the wind here, or just being tight, but I'm reluctant to pay £56 + for two "Ancor" rocker switches for my trim tabs when I only want one.

Can anyone help?

I've found Ancor's web site but no mention of switches only wire.

you could try TEPCO for Lucas electrical parts , they deal maily in classic car parts lights starter motors and so on

Hi Dean and welcome to the madhouse. I too wanted to do the same as you waaaay back in the 70s. My solution was to buy two electric window rocker switches, these worked superbly and cost a fraction of the cost of the 'real' ones.

or try RS Components - www.rswww.com - they have lots of switches, I got a replacement bilge pump switch from them, would have had to buy a compete new switch panel at £40 but got a switch for under £15 ic P&P - AND it was identical to the original!
