Does anyone know where I can get an allround white torch?

Hi All,

The title says it all really, I used to have a small torch which had an allround 360 degree 'head', I used it a few times as an allround white for my dinghy.
It disappeared years ago but can't see anything like it on ebay or any online chandlers, does anyone know where I can find one?

Alternatively, any ideas for independently powered (cheap) nav lights for a dinghy?

Or use a head torch pointing up with a similar bottle as a diffuser. I've done this and I didn't get run down. It got a few laughs shoreside too!

Runs off 4AA's yours for a fiver plus postage if you want. Fits on a pole or you can glue the base mount to the dinghy.

That's the sort of thing I'm after thanks! I'm annoyed I lost mine though, it was a small yellow waterproof torch that ran off two AAs, also would shine ahead so was a handy little torch!

other means to show an all-round (360 degrees) white light, which shall be exhibited in sufficient time to prevent collision.’ This rule, acknowledging the
difficulty of seeing a small vessel at night or in reduced visibility, clearly puts the onus on the small vessel to show the specified light in time. However in
the densely trafficked areas of the Tidal Thames and with the added hazard of high speed vessels, vessels under oars (or paddles) should display a flashing
white light visible over an arc of 360 degrees (an all-round white light). Fixed white lights are also correct, but are not as effective at attracting the
attention of other river users. In certain vessels two lights, one forward and one aft, may be required to ensure visibility throughout 360 degrees.

Watch out for Aldi deals. I got a 10w LED (Cree) torch for £20, 450 lumens, comes with a diffuser. Brightest torch I have ever owned.
