Does anyone know what size and thread the keel bolts are on a Sigma 41?

The threads look about an inch wide but the rust is swelling them a bit. I need to cut off a nut to size properly but would like replacement to hand if any one knows?

The studs and nuts on my Sigma 362 (built 1987 I think) are, apparently, M24 (24mm). M24 keel studs and nuts are about the same sort of size as those on your subject Sigma41 so, given the likely similarity in period and location of manufacture of the two boats I reckon M24 is what you'll find they are.

Cheers!

Why not buy one nut of what looks like the right size, noting the above, (and one bigger and smaller) and try them. A nut is hardly expensive. When you have ascertained the right size - go and buy a set- again it is hardly expensive.
