Does anyone know a supplier of tiller hoods like this ?

Thanks I did see that one and I THINK they were the people who had a direct replacement for mine in SS . I did try to call them but they are closed till the end of Jan.

I could get one made up but because its a "one of" the cost is horrendous.

But thanks for your input.

I might have a spare one from my flying fifteen restoration. What's the thickness/gauge of the material?

I made a new bow roller for my first boat after storm damage. I cadged some suitable plate from a skip at a ss fabricator, made up a cardboard template & used it to cut out the plate to shape & size. I then went back to the fabricator with my cardboard model & shaped plates & they welded them up for me for a few quid in the tea club.

If all else fails my tiller is made up of 2 pieces of wood. One bolted each side of the rudder head. The peices of wood then bend towards one another to become one near the front end. Seems perfectly satisfactory to me (still testing after 35years) and no expensive hood. good luck olewill
