As per title.

Just curious as his Guapa.pn website is no more.

I know he moved Guapa to the Benodet area.

But that was a while ago now.

I always enjoyed his contributions - although he wasn't a great fan of the East Coast's murky rivers :).

Im in contact, but not asked his whereabouts Lady Guapa was still working for a Co here

Guapa is now in Brittany.. (I’m sure he wouldn’t mind me saying...) and he’s doing fine, apart from the day to day issues any of us have with our boats!

Just wandered on here for the first time in ages (pissing down here).

Never expected to be missed :o (though it seems my Guapacasts are not).

We are still in Benodet/St Marine.

Last 2/3 years have been quiet on the boaty front.
Partly due to health issues (which have led to early retirement - so, it's not all bad) and partly due to expensive boat mechanical issues (gearbox and propshaft).
All but sorted now. Both boat and skipper are on the mend.

If everything goes according to plan, a Biscay crossing will be our next adventure.
La Coruna and back - sort of trial run before we cast off for sunnier climes in 2020.

PS: did you move to Holland - as was planned when we last spoke IIRC?

Nice to hear from you. Glad to see things are starting to work out for you.

Yep, we've been berthed at Amsterdam marina for a couple of years or so.

However, we're coming back to Ipswich September time.

Nothing to do with stupid Brexit - just a change in plan due to other issues. We've enjoyed our time in Holland (apart from the rain!) - I'll miss not being berthed there.

Enjoy your Biscay crossing - it's a great feeling arriving on the other side.
