Docklands Rally

Stopped off at the ATYC Rally in Docklands over the August Bank Holiday.
What a great location.
Been a few years since we last visited and whow, has it changed !
Huge number of bars and restaurants at all price levels.
Good links to West End if you want theatres, etc.
Dome is opposite with chair lift/ gondola linked north and south banks.

Only 6 competitors so no surprises there, but mutterings afoot about adopting this location for future rallies and even going fully social and offering visits to various sites in the location.

We were all very impressed and will return again if thoughts mature.

Blakey stopped by yesterday evening and I went for a short troll with him on his boat. He said he'd been and enjoyed it but surprised me when he said there were only about 40 boats there.

Actually 70 boats, which is pretty good for Docklands.

70 eh! That's more like it. Blakey always did have problems counting above 10.
