I think you're making far too many assumptions. I'm not an offshore member as for reasons of convenience, I do all my charitable donations via CAF. I give far more than the offshore membership fee per year to the RNLI, but you'd like me "named and shamed".

well, the simple way round that naming and shaming would be to set up a direct debit and become a member- irrespective of your charitable donations.
Anyone know where RNLI gets most of its funding? Cant be from Offshore membership.

Yes, because I'm sure the RNLI are going to "name and shame" people who donate to them. I wonder why they didn't think of this before?

From an annual review on their website HERE 61% of their income comes from legacies......
