Do you have a tattoo?

Nope, too scared!!

Plus I have knife wounds, bullet wound, numerous other scars, so dont really need a tattoo, can read my life in scars!

Yes... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Have a large naval anchor on the inside of my forearm, identical to my Grandfather. He died in 1984 aged 100 and had spent most of his life on the seas. He had many other tattoos but with my limited experience (compared to him) I don't really qualify in duplicating them. Very difficult to remember precisely, but he also had a large square rigger on his shoulder and a lady on the other which I can only presume was my Gran!

Well that's your own fault for not doing what she tells you to do /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yes, Anchor on my right forearm with a ribbon on which my name was written. Got it from "Speed Robinson" in the waterfront area of Vancouver, BC in 1951 during my first visit to Vancouver. He was operating in front of shop and I stopped to watch. Have no recollection as to why I choose that design althought it have been cost - $5.00.

My monthly salary at the time was $150.00

Cheers

My wife has a rather fetching traditional Polynesian tattoo on her right shoulder which she had done in Tahiti having sailed there from the Caribbean. She also has the Canadian flag tattooed on her backside but that another story…

wife is humming and hawing about having a small one of these on her foot.

Since we are off to the Miami Boat Show next weekend, I mights just oblige her with a visit to the Miami Ink shop. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

A guy who works in our yard tatoo'd his own foot and said it is the most painful one that he has done. Please persuade Theresa against this, as she has done more than her share of hobbling. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

not nautical related but, if you dare, google "puff the magic dragon tattoo". don't say I didn't warn you...

edit: deffinetly not mine - ouch...

I have a tattoo on my left arm. It could be mistaken as a bic pen line - It was meant to be so nonsensical, it could be anything. So, in this case, it is obviously nautical /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

When I have the money... I will get a Swallow (bird) on my chest. A sailor is said to have sailed 5,000nm for every Swallow... Also, a Swallow always finds its way home, which is particularly pertinent to my current circumstance!

I DO NOT have any tattoos anywhere on my body.

Furthermore, before anyone asks, I DO NOT resemble that painful effigy at all!
