Do you have a Ratheon RL70C sat nav on your boat?

Hi All,

I wonder if someone could.
I just popped up to the boat to do some jobs. Whilst there I thought I'd switch on my RL70C to see how windy it was.
Sadly its coming up with NO FIX, and none of the sea talk is communicating.
Even the instruments at the helm aren't talking to each other.

First question.... does anyone have a Raytheon RL70C chart plotter which I can plug mine into to confirm if my unit is functioning correctly?
Second question.... can anyone recommend a good marine electronics whizz kid? Has anyone used mantsbrite?

Many thanks in advance

Ian

Not Mantsbrite if my experience is anything to go by.

Sounds like something I could look at for you on a reasonable day?

Yes I have an RL70 and a very similar unit which acts as a repeater / slave. We're in Shotley although I'm not sure when I'll next be at the boat. George at Foxes very good with leccy although personally I'd take Jim up on his offer as he does know his way around these things!
