Do you dig your anchor in ?

Does nobody else anchor under sail? We frequently do.

Sometimes, and off as well. But invariably the engine will be on anyway just in case I need to get out of trouble so will get used to check the holdings good.

I always back down on the anchor.

If I have anchored under sail, rare nowadays, I would start the engine and back down.

Lets me sleep soundly.

I hate it when I see someone anchor in front and not back down to set it.
