Do we really want hot weather?

After the hot weekend I am not sure it is what I am happiest with.

I got burnt on Friday then spent the next few days trying to avoid the scorching sun.

Now 16-18 degrees with no wind would be my favourite rather than what we've just had to be honest.

Not going to be envious of med boaters from now on.

Then there is the fine effect it has on our good ladies attire.

Finally, IMHO everyone (contrary to popular belief) looks better with a tan.

I'm not a sun worshiper by any means and spend most of my time hiding under the nearest shade. But I can live with that.

One of the best reasons for the sunshine is pointed out above.

have to admit that the only sunstroke I've ever got was a sunny noon in Bath some 18+yrs ago.
Now being 47 and having spend 37 of them in Greece and numerous hours under the sun (working, cycling, whatever, NOT sunbathing which I hate) it does mean something...

Yes I wasn't wearing a hat but you have to accept that the sun up North is "hotter" more dangerous than the one we've got down here.
