Having just spent two weeks brown water cruising and getting rained or "greyed" on every day, I do not want to hear how everyone is having lovely sunny drinks in cockpit, swimming with dolphins, and slapping on the factor 50. :D

I had a nice time exploring Kent by train though. And as a consolation did have a lovely evening on a mooring at Wrabness last night and the bloody sun is out now.

I do not want to hear from retired people in Oysters sunning themselves in France :D

Back to work Monday, happy sailing.:D

I am with you in this one.
Three weeks off mostly grey and the sun appears as soon as work restarts. Got as far as Plymouth but had only a couple of really sunny days.
We did manage to keep the really rainy days as travelling days in the main.
Didn't get weatherbound in Gosport this summer which was a bonus....

we went to the Hardway SC. THAT WAS an experience

Nice one Duncan, I really envy you your location as I think you should get some nice weather now. Might go for Plymouth again next year in our barbeque summer:D

Wingdiver is at work now :D
beere o clock here in Boulogne :)

Yes I am at work (although STILL yet to put the old whistle on - in shorts/T-shirt)
Beer o'clock in Boulogne isn't the same as supping some nice English Ale over here in Blighty. We tried many of the local offerings on our trip - from Doombar eastwards. Not a dodgy one amongst them and no fizz either......:D :p

under the umbrella in the cockpit, its almost too darn hot :D

Yes, but you're still in Boulogne. :p

Meanwhile, the woman of my life has just been for a swim.
Even managed to drag our youngest away from his laptop and to the beach.
They've now joined me for aperitifs (well, to be honest, I've been having aperitifs ever since lunchtime).
Shower next, then din-dins.
