DIY lifepo4 battery for offshore, 280 or 160Ah cells?

Hi, have choice of 160 Ah or 280 cells to build required storage. Any wisdom on using smaller cells for reported better internal strength in the face of the movement and vibration from offshore sailing.

Check with your insurance provider first.
Lithium related incidents appear to be increasing and whilst LifePo4 appears the better option of the lithium family I read an article where insurers require professional fitting not DIY. !
Also check out if battery is one that is CE marked and suitable for your vessels electrical system.
