DIY iphone Passerel Remote Controll

Hi Bart, this all seems very reasonable, and designed for your passerelle. How does the receiver interface with the control mechanism?

the relay contacts from the receiver are connected in parallel with the controll buttons for the passerel,

well fysically I don't wire them right on the controll buttons,
but I'll mount the receiver board in the passerel controll box,
and wire the receiver relais in parallel with the wires that come from the controll buttons in the cockpit

any I'phone with the generic simblee app installaed, and bluetooth "on" will see the board when you come close enough,
and it will "capture" the remote application,
when it has been done ones, it all goes automatic,
but only one I'phone can be connected at the same time !

we still have to add a password protection,
because as it is now, anyone walking along with a simblee app on a I'phone can operate our passerel,

FYI we have"nt installed the unit on the boat yet,
but thorrowly tested without connection to the boat.
