I've seen quite a few of these on youtube but they are all more complicated to make - this one's real simple. What could possibly go wrong. Put a flower pot over it and you can turn off your domestic central heating!

Search penny stove on Google/youtube and there are dozens of examples. A good way to waste a winter afternoon perfecting the method and hours of fun investigating different build methods and jet designs. Just make sure you get loads of meths beforehand so that you can test your creations.
