Unfortunately, one of my hull port holes has dropped out and is sitting on the mud on my berth at Gosport Marina. It needs somebody to jump in, grab it and bring it back up. Depth is about 2.5m at low tide.
I have phoned the divers that I usually use for this sort of operation but they are in Ipswich until the weekend.
So what to do?
1. Use a much more expensive team from slightly further away.
2. Buy a wet suit and do it myself.
3. Offer cash to somebody who returns my port hole but I can't employ them to actually dive as Health & Safety has now got to diving as well. You have to have a 'dive team'.
4. Other suggestions.
How an earth the port hole 'dropped' out I have no idea so please don't ask.
