Diver Shiplake area wanted

We managed to lose a filer cap at the Shiplake water point yesterday. Anybody able to recommend a diver we could pay to retrieve it? It's about 7' - 8'' deep, and although my son got down to the bottom three times he couldn't stay down long enough to find anything apart from a set of keys.

Is it a very special filler cap? Wouldnt it be cheaper just to replace it or the complete assembly?

The guy who runs Marine Windows at Reading (based in the Better Boating yard just below Caversham Lock) is a diver.

Being brass/bronze, don't think a magnet would work (but not sure)

Bit special, original 1951 fitting be a pity to lose it, & wife says she will pay as she dropped it in!

hope you find it, diver far safer than ones son...(unless he is a diver)

There is a diver in Tedd I know of if you get stuck he may be able to do it.
