Diver needed on Seine near Rouen

Hi

We left Rouen yesterday heading up the Seine towards Paris in our Princess 35. Just after the first lock at Amfreville we hit a submerged tree branch which has jammed one of our props. We managed to moor alongside at the small halte de plaisance at Poses.

We need a Diver to come and clear the prop. The only offer we have had so far is someone in Dieppe who would charge 700 euros!

Any suggestions welcome.....

Hi - We also needed a diver ('plongeur') once when we were in Rouen. I wouldn't know his name, but he was arranged via the Chandlery on the island. Villetard - they are dive equipment stockists so they know what's what.

Good luck, these situations are a real pain. But Poses is a pretty nice place to be stuck in.

Thanks, that is a very useful suggestion. I'll give them a call first thing tomorrow - today is Monday so they are closed.

Yes, Poses is lovely and there are certainly worse places to be stuck for a few days.
