Distillate of Witch Hazel

I had reason to use the boat first aid box yesterday for a scratch.

Me thinks it is time to replace. Distillilate of Witch Hazel use by Sept 97. The eye of newt and toe of frog where fine.

Just checked my first aid kit & the tube of Savlon expired in October 1997, so your vintage just predates mine!

For scratches, I prefer spray plaster - lots of different makes are available. It stings like crazy on first application but 10 seconds later it's fine. Quick and easy to apply and keeps the bugs out. Nothing to get waterlogged or fall off.

Checked my first aid kit at the beginning of the season. Some stuff didn't have use by dates, thinks they might be circa 1982!! All disposed of and new stuff bought with a note about expiry dates in the log!!!

I have a climbing friend who's first action is to suggest amputation for everything!
