Being honest, I'm probably too shy to ask for a lift. I'd think i was putting him out by making him come out and get me. Today, once I'd refloated, I set off to the town hammerhead, ferry glided in, almost majestically, only to fall foul of Kudu's remarkebly low freeboard. The fenders I'd put out didn't stop me. The stanchions did! Oops (shut it, whoever thinks I'm a prat for that). I reset the fenders as best as I could, then walked past the crab fishing kids with their parents which reminded me of many happy hours doing much the same in Mudeford Quay, then wondered to the local Tesco. Re-supplied then set off back to my mud berth further up the creek.
I did walk past the curry house Roger MoodySabre had mentioned to me, which is a shame since fish curry sounds disgusting... but I presume otherwise, so I want to try it. I'm imagining a standard curry with cod instead of chicken... hmm.
