I have a unit in my electrics box called a disjoncteur differentiel. type: DPC 032 21 030.
It's on a 1995 Jeanneau and I am guessing it is a circuit breaker or p'raps the ac/dc converter. having a problem getting a close look at it and cannot find this model number on the BACO website.

anyone have any ideas?

thanks
Russell

Sounds more like a residual current circuit-breaker which senses the differential current between live and neutral wires. If there is a differential, this indicates an earth leakage fault and the unit trips. This disconnects the mains supply. Normally it will have a test button and an indication of the trip curent (normally 30mA for UK breakers).

It's used to protect the AC mains circuit from faulty loads.
