Discussion On Elizmor Thread

Can see little point in continuing until she returns with an update. As you said no one is going to wade through
all those pages & pages of posts. Knock it on the head.

I wouldn't reply though with all the nastiness, would you?
Great, informative and uplifting story in my mind. That I was interested to read.
Killed by the moaning minnies that inhabit the forum.

Seems to me that those who want to lock the thread, or are bored with it, have also been those that have been perpetuating it.

And as Bluey asked - where is Nathan ?

I don't think a thread which is at 1300+ posts, increasing by 100 or so per day, can accurately be described as "killed". It might not be going quite the way the OP wanted, but tough, really.

I abandoned reading the original thread somewhere around post number 800. It seemed to be going nowhere.

Haven't people better things to do?

+10000000000.....

She is a young woman with "drive and attitude". I thought those same values to my own daughters as they grew up.

I find the whole story quite sad. Not just the difficulties with getting it back in the water but the comments on this forum then silence on her blog. Sure the whole project was optimistic but one should not be punished for optimism. I wish her the best of luck olewill

I have made a few suggestions as I genuinely want to help and would love to see a happy ending, I have also made jokey remarks which someone would have to be seriously if not deliberately thin skinned to take offence at.

I tend to agree the thread should be locked - not removed - until Ellie returns and explains.

Bear in mind she is not answering PM's now, including those from a concerned friend of hers who on seeing I had been in PM contact in the early days got on to me asking if I've heard anything; I haven't.

There is the point that apparently Ellie had to go to hospital for something or other a while ago, though I'd have thought she could have responded by now whatever it was.

However she wishes to present things to potential "sponsors" (a more accurate term might be "clients"), discussions here are not Eleanor's private domain to control for her own benefit. She could easily add a discussion forum to the Elizmor website.
