Don't know if this if for here, the lounge or ships monthly but saw the end of Thunderball yesterday, Largo's yacht, the Disco - they must have had a packet of fun making that 'convert' - according to Wiki it was a hydrofoil ferry from Puerto Rico & modified for the film - any anecdotes out there from the crew or the film set ?

For one minute I thought you were talking about Whitelighter's favourite boat - but I've just noticed that they've changed its name from the Seacamper Disco Volante, to the equally enticing Stromberg 46!

She's a real beaut, oh yes! :)

You set 'em up, I'll knock 'em down...

Ahem, I present the jury with the following evidence, taken shortly after we visited the Disco Volante stand at Düsseldorf.....

Dunno about the boat used as DV but in the "sequel", Never Say Never Again, the boat was "Flying Saucer" (geddit?) and was of course the 80-odd metre Bennetti that's now Kingdom 5KR, moored in Antibes. In the Jamnes Bond Movie's days it was Kashoggi's boat, then called Nabila
