Bucktrout have stopped selling their own brand Spiced Rum due to lack of demand. Was I the only one who trecked there to buy it? Gurnsey is now definitely off the cruising stopover list, though I did have three pleasant days anchored in Havelet bay, went ashore without filling in one of their Customs forms, naughty or what?
Did Cherbourg - St PP - Cherbourg - St Vaast - Weymouth - Poole.
Two weeks of wall to wall sun.

What is spiced rum? We buy an occasional lt of Negrita the French dark rum which makes a nice rum & coke change from Bacardi gnat's P.

Tried Negrita once, thought the paraffin content a bit high!
Spiced Rum - Rum with spices in /forums/images/icons/blush.gif not really sure how it’s made, just know that I like it and would suffer St PP to buy it at £10 per Ltr.

Captain Morgan's spiced rum is still around; saw it in unwins the other day. I used to buy it but got fed up with the cost. switched to Tesco's own brand dark rum which is quite good neat !! Just have to remember that I am on the boat when I normaly drink it !!
