I am planning to take the dingy at home and store it until I need it again (probably next summer). It's definately not a good idea to keep it on the boat under the Med sun (yes it is still very hot), even under a cover because the material will get dry eventually. Besides it's in my view and I really hate that.
Is it better to store it inflated or deflate it? It's a new Honda 2.40 with inflatable floor and it's made of PVC.

And make sure it is bone dry so storing upside down helps.
Seems obvious but I know of someone who didn't and the transom rotted

My Avon Rover has lived for 11years in a locker completely deflated with an electric pump. Used rarely since we have a rigid tender now. When it's brought out for use it's perfectly ok.

Always deflate ours when we stop for the winter, stored in a canvas bag lashed to the foredeck. Sprinkle liberally with cheap talcum powder before stowing - not sure why but it causes no end of amusement in the spring whe reinflating and you wind up coved in the stuff, hence this has become a 'pink' job allocated to SWMBO.

My avon redcrest has just reached its 40th birthday & has been serviced once for new valves & seam check
I rarely fold it & keep it in the garage roof
Dont have a mice problem but the cat used to enjoy kipping on it
Folding introduces creases etc in the seams
Pressure for storage is fairly rigid but not mote than 3 psi which i believe is the operating pressure
