I am getting to the end of building a tender and now need some paint. It is made of woven glass mat on a foam core. The paint needs to be UV stable, resistant to knocks and scapes, waterproof and not too expensive. I am not looking a super finish as the boat is a bit industrial.
Has anyone used any industrial paint for a job like this? If so what is recommended.

I'd have thought the toughest finish would be flowcoat - all paints need more care than a gelcoat... You can make up a flowcoat with whatever colour you choose.

Many thanks, I've just been looking for some cheap epoxy. Floor paint is a bit cheaper than other products.

I have looked at Screwfix and they only seem to do polyurethane, which may have some adhesion problems with the resin that my dinghy is made of. I think I'll stick with epoxy.
I'm hoping someone will know where I can get a big bucketful for not much money.
Thanks anyway.
