Dijon 14... what engine?

Quick one (hopefully) i'm looking at a Dijon 14ft for a day fisher to tow behind my grandad type rover.

i need to know what length outboard works and a recomendaition as to engine size.

anyone got carnal knowledge of such a beastie?

Had one many years ago (35), with a Chrysler 20hp, (long shaft, I think)
Only ever used it on inland waters.

I had a little 15hp johnson and the 14ft dejon I had lept along planing at 23mph according to the gps
terrible boat though very unstable

Just trying to sort a few of the "old" boat issues out down here.

My GF is interested in fishing, so though i'd try for a bargain Dejon... but from the feedback, i don't think i'll bother!

Be nice to catch up in the summer, and i hope yours is coming on well, it'd be great to actually get to see her.

How's things going?

Not been on here much over the last 2-3 years, too much other "stuff" going on.

My old boat is still ongoing, have 2 new turbo diesels ready to go in. so when i get time etc!

Need to sell the sunseeker to make some room to get the Osborne lifted into my garden to finish her off. been here before, but was hoping to be back in the water this year.

Was looking at a light and trailerable fishing boat for round here, so 14 -16ft max with a small outboard, but going on replies i may have to rethink.
