You can turn the plus off at the instrument where as the non plus you can't it's either on or off! The graphic and multi ones are a little better/quicker/clearer but there's not a lot in it!

I had always understood that the ST60+ has an option to use GPS source for true wind whereas the ST60 only allows use of the water speed. If this is indeed the case then it is handled by the processor code as the circuit boards for both unit are the same design (according to the repair manuals as once linked on this website).

Physically, the grey is slightly different shade, the shape is more rounded so that the covers aren't compatible between the two, and the plus has stiffer buttons. And darker grey buttons. And the manual has a colour cover too. :)
