Be careful using Zoflora as it's oil based and if you pump the bilges up round Cookham on the Thames the wardens will be after you. To stop the smell I fitted drip trays in my engine bays that are large enough to catch any engine oil drip and leaks from the fuel filters. These are lined with spillage mats to soak up any spills plus extra care was taken with installing the engines and fuel system. So nothing gets into the bilges except a bit of shaft glad water. It has taken time to get rid of the old smells but several coats of paint have made new smells.
