Diesel pump for Chinese heater

I’m intending to replace an Eberspacher D3L heater with a Chinese 5kw version. The Eber installation takes diesel from the engine fuel
tank via a recently replaced Eber fuel pump. My question is - can I continue to use this (presumably good quality) pump, or should I replace it with the pump that is supplied with the Chinese heater?

Depends whether the fuel quantity per pulse is the same on the Chinese pump. If the Chinese heater is actually 5kW, it will presumably need more fuel than the D3L, so I'd guess the answer is no, and you'll need to use the Chinese pump. On the other hand, maybe it just pulses faster. To avoid messing about, I'd just use the Chinese pump.

I completely agree! Using the Chinese pump does well than anything so it's good to use!

+1 use the supplied pump.
The chinese pumps are being sold as suitable eberspacher spares I tested a chinese 2kw version and its delivery per cycle was quite different than the D2 pump.
