Diesel - Price Variance Premier Marina

Its .717p per litre in Chichester but only .65p per litre in Brighton.

Last week, when I queried the difference, I was told by a helpfull young man that the price would change in Chichester when they refilled their supply tank. As they had not been turning over a lot of fuel lately he could not tell me when that would be.

As the world and his wife were out on their boats last week I checked again today but the young lady said they top up their supply tanks on a weekly basis and the price had been .717p per litre for ages.

As I need circa 2000 litres by the end of October - its a big difference in the price (and no I am not going to Brighton to get the better price).

Can anyone enlighten me on the Premier Policy as their staff seem a little confused. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

PS before the greens start tutting about using 2000 litres we will probably not take on fuel again for another 2 years

Then clearly they operate an actual 'refuel by refuel' price at each marina.

I found the same difference earlier in the summer, assume its just the solent premium, just like the berthing prices.

Just phoned my marina on east coast. Are you sitting down, it's a massive £0.92p per litre. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
They change their price depending on delivery cost to them.

On another note they still haven't been told about what they need to do if anything after the November change. At that cost they shouldn't need to change their prices to include any more TAX

Cost a premier marina is worked out on a load by load basis as the price varies often from the supplier.

Currently it is 71.7 to Berthe holders and over night visitors
and 75.8 to everyone else.

71.7 is cost price.

See the red diesel forum for the definative on duty, no one seems to have told the re-sellers yet andthere is only a few weels to go.

I gather the others around there may be expensive, but I have filled up a couple of times in the Yacht Haven and if you buy enough you get a good discount.

However since Premier started the cost price fuel for berth holders I have only bought it from Premier.
