Wher will you mount the genny? I have been investigating fitting a genny on a previous thread. 2k must be quite heavy unless you have a permanant site for it.
Regards
[/ QUOTE ] Its a little Honda Eu20i, weights about 21kgs empty and the big handle on top makes lifting it a doddle (certainly easier than our liferaft). Its portable so I hope to be able to move it around the deck depending on noise and wind direction. The only thing I am not sure of is does the genny need earthing. There was a thread a year ago by Richard Faulkner on the same subject but I can't find it at the moment. Will the idea of a small genny and an electric heater work? don't know, finding out tonight so if you here a late night "pan pan" its just us asking for extra blankets /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Came from these folks, ordered Sunday evening, arrived Tue and they had run it up to test it before despatch, good service.
