Diesel filter MD11C

So the MD11C has two fuel filters - the main one and a smaller pre-filter/water trap (?) part number V876554. They are available but look like a really generic part - identifier AC D60 Diesel Filter. I know I am being tight but will probably be replacing the part with a CAV type at some point so every penny helps. Does anyone know a generic part that will replace the Volvo one?

...I would like to add a question - what oil does the MS gearbox use (I think it is MS - not the separate shift/throttle levers). I thought the answer would be in my manual, it is nowhere to be seen!

My MD11c used the same oil in the gearbox as the engine oil.

The filter is available at http://www.keypart.com/ Be very careful about generic filters some were left on our boat and they didn't have a pressure relief valve.

I was today picking up the bottom end of an MD11C for spares, pistons, liners etc. in the box that came with it was the official Volvo inline filter with the glass inspection cup underneath it. Still pristine. I know it was only a saving of £50 but - happy!
