Hello,

The Wallas hob (and oven if you get one) are excellent. The work like a ceramic hob you would have at home but powered obviously by diesel. They are super quiet and pretty efficient - though can be a bit fussy and require proper start and shutdown procedures otherwise the coke up abit like the diesel heat systems.

I have never used the cabin heating attachment though..

I have one and it's great.

Points to note -
one hob is always about 2/3rds the heat of the other. You only get one temp control. (one hob is over the burner the other is over the exhaust).
they are slow to get to temp compared with other hobs. Find an alternative solution for boiling the kettle (electric kettle and inverter in my case)
The heater gives about 2.5 kw i reckon, which tops up my main heater nicely when it's very cold and it's good to have a completely independent heater in case one breaks.
My boat is galley down so the heat from the hob comes out at floor height in the saloon. I have heard complaints of cold feet syndrome with other layouts.
They are almost inaudible in hob mode, the click click of the pump is much quieter that a regular deisel heater. The heater fan lid sounds like a fan heater, no better or worse.

Hi,
I have had both on my last 2 boats. The heater is fine but mine is a bit under powered, you can probably get a higher output model.
The hob is great although takes ages to get hot so boiling a kettle takes time.
My only real moan is that they are supposed to be serviced every year which I think was about £300 for both.
But wouldn't change them for gas
