Diesel Cap Camarat 725 - A Question Regarding Power

Hi,
I am in the process of buying a Cap Camarat 725 WA.
It has a Volvo TAMD22 - 105Hp engine.
On sea trial it was a little choppy and tight for space.
The boat only made 14 knots at 4000 rpm - I am not sure how clean the bottom was.
Does anyone know whether the boat would originally have been capable of planing properly i.e. 16+ knots?
There is nothing on line about these boats.
Any insight would be appreciated.

But I think you are on the wrong forum as your boat is a power boat.
