Don,t know which or if there is a best, I use some stuff called "FUEL SET", I was sceptical about it but now believe it does make a differance re starting and "pre warm up" smokeing.
The best one to use is never to keep using the same one.
As it's a bug, it can (and does) get used to the same treatment and will eventually become resistant.
So you need to change the type of treatment you use every now and then to keep it on it's toes, so to speak.
I don't know if there are any that are universally poor, but my guess is that whatever the brand you will find someone who has been using a particular brand for years and will say it's not what it used to be, for the reasons stated above.
From my experience it would appear that most of them seem to work OK though.

Thats interesting, I will change when this one is done!
Is this a new phenomenon? I don't recall the problem years ago - mariners and farmers kept tanks of diesel on the go for years, apparently without problems. Is modern diesel more susceptible, or are these new super-bugs?
Well with Trundlebug etc keeping them on their toes, doing push-ups and so forth, I expect we have super bugs that will be breaking through the fuel tanks soon...
