I parked there yesterday at about 12.30 and there were loads of spaces, suspect it filled up early afternoon with people using the leisure park for cinema and Sunday lunch
 
Free park and ride

Stayed in the Guinness bar 'till 6.50 and by the time I got to the car in the park and ride there was no-one to take my money.....free parking. Also no traffic jam to get out of.

Hmm, I could just imagine trying to get all the stuff I normally buy at a boat show home on public transport.

Besides I spent twenty years suffering the commute into London by public transport. It's not an experience I'd care to do in my leisure time!

Yep decided to go by train after last years hassle.

24th Sept .......Yep you guessed it Engineering works between Southampton Airport and Southampton Central. Replacement Bus service was a farce, nobody had any idea what bus to get on or even where the buses were.

On the way back we got caught in the football kickout crowd, another bus, and then eventually a train home.

However, we were determined to enojoy ourselves and we did. We even took two never been on the water before folks, and have convinced them to come out for a weekend next season.

You'll be OK next year, then; they're not having one. Apparently the organiser's have put the price up and the RYA won't play.
