Ditto - after watching that mine is an angel.

My 85 year old friend married for 60+ years was asked by his great grand child, ' Did you and Gran ever consider divorce?'

He Replied 'Never. Murder often but never divorce'

She was incredible, wasn't she? Ugly, aggressive, stupid (none of which she can help, arguably) and a foul - mouthed, racist bigot. And her eldest daughter was obviously shaping up (sic) to be a carbon copy.

Strangely, her husband, who had the potential to be all the same things, was rather a gentle soul; God knows how he puts up with her.

I suppose one should bear in mind that programmes like this are edited heavily from hundreds of hours of film, and what survives is carefully selected to support the programme maker's perception of the person - as with Big Brother and its ilk. However, not even the most demented programme maker could have invented this particular beauty.
