diamond pattern treadmaster

Just musing over putting diamond pattern treadmaster on the decks.... starting to pattern up/ estimate amount needed....

sheet sizes are 900 x 1200 x 3mm.......

but which way round do the length of the diamonds go- parallel with the 900mm side or the 1200 mm side?

Our boat is more working style than gin palace but I can't have some aligned one way and some the other, no matter how cheapskate I'm being!

(btw I did phone their head office but no-one was available to tell me; and the website isn't clear)

It's absolutely vital to plan the various sections so that the diamonds are aligned properly. If you don't, you'll notice it every time you look at the deck, and it will drive you mad.

agreed & it isnt cheap, i have just replaced mine in the cockpit
