Re:Evidence? Appeals procedure?

Spose he vehemently denies it tho? Won't it be a bit of a damp squib?

So I think Kim H shd provide some evidence. Hoepfully sometghing a bit more than Pauline B's blimmin medieval virtual ducking stool.

Re:By gad ! the bounder!

Are you quite sure Holmes?! Because (for benefits of us thickos) ip adress = the thingy in the puter that tells the other end what puter it was that was used! So it's incontrovertible! (ie abslootly right, dead cert.)

Re: Sentencing and hotmails

As minimum punishment, he has to fill my tanks wiv diesel. And Kim, please cut-n-paste the email string that you (presumably) had wiv him to his hotmail address, a few days ago, so we can see the full extent of his deceit. Also we need all relevant info before us for sentencing purposes.

Re: bit steep!

Not only are you gettingaway with the 600 quid, you want free diesel! If he complies, suggest you immediately recruit for boat sharing.

Re: Is this related?

Whilst on the way home from work one evening, I wa slistening to a radio pragramme which had a number of comedians on it. Jo Brand was asked about the best put down she had heard. She replied something like "I once went to a comedy show and one of the stand up comedians was Kirk Douglas' less famous son (Barry_D can you see where this one is going?). He was not very good and the audience showed their displeasure by heckling and barracking. He shouts a protest of ""you can't do this to me!. I'm Kirk Douglas' son"" at which point one of th eaudience stands and shouts "" No!! I'm Kirk Douglas' son""" followed by ....

My money is on Barry_D. He seems quite good at sniffing out a wind up

OK

Re: You\'ve got it in one R(J)MW ...nm

Yeah, but 'bout an hour or so late. It was a genuine educated guess, as I had not seen Kim's reference that all would be revealed at 1200.

What does "...nm"" mean, please?

Meaning of NM

Hi R(J)MW - NM means "no message", so you don't need to open the message it's all in the content is in the subject line. Natrually when you reply or add your comments you are supposed to remove the NM but no-one does. AND of course if you like to keep your screen tidy and delete the little red flags then you have to open the message anyway...

Re: You\'ve got it in one R(J)MW

"no more". Means there's no main message, all the info's in the title. But I find that unless you go into the main message, you can't get rid of the little red flag !
