60 hours so far this year.
Fuel. 1365 litres.
Average 22.5 litres per hour both engines.
Broke stuff to date.
1x Starter relay
1 x Oil pressure sender.
:)
Wine/beer bill and moorings in St Kats 🎻

Filled up at the start of the season with 618 litres, no idea how much we have used yet though, we have done over 400km @ 10km/h average since the start of May over three trips, one to Bocholt with the grandkids, one to Weert and Bocholt then to Lier and back home, then last weekend to Hasselt for the festivities of Hasselt Live where they were having live bands playing all over the town including a very good AC/DC cover band playing at the haven.

I did fit new senders to the diesel tanks and they have moved a little off the full mark.

Bocholt was €18 inc. leccy, Lier was €14 per night for 4 nights inc. Leccy, then one night in Geel €12 inc. Leccy, For the trip to Hasselt was 4 nights at €15 inc. leccy and one night at a wayside steiger which was free.

Broke stuff: Port turbo has sprung a leak on the exhaust side so will be sending it in to the workshop for a bit of fettling quoted €500 +btw to fix it. :(

Our club event of the year coming up shortly around 30 or 40 boats should be involved .

Hopefully some decent weather this time around .
Would normally go out to the wreck of the SS Richard Montgomery for a wreath laying ceremony but curtailed this section of trip due to wind.

Been a slow start for us this year - not been out to sea but had a couple of runs down river and a night on the pick but that’s about it. Other life stuff has got in the way, which has been compounded by getting back into motorcycling after decades away.

The upside is that we haven’t had any issues with things not working……..or perhaps I just don’t know that they have packed up yet! 😉

Fred I do have respect for how active your club is, and most importantly that members and boats get involved and participate. Great to see in this day and age, where unfortunately it appears in some areas boat clubs don't seem to have the popularity or attendance like they used too.
Speaking for my own club where I moor and have been a member for many years, thankfully it too has had a revival of energy with members over the last few years and is also a great place to be part of to enjoy this boating hobby.

Total of 15 of our club boats made it to Dunkerque last week, couple of them have gone on to Holland.
Cruises planned to the East Coast, Ramsgate (again) The upper Thames with some local non tidal stuff ie. River Festival in Maidstone Town Centre.
Fortunately new members appear keen to expand horizons and they also make good company to encourage the old hands to get off their bottoms.
Club members come from quite far afield, in one case 70 miles.
As came back early, decided not to waste a Bank holiday, went up above the lock for day or two, the wind can then blow as much as it wants...
