You probably all know this but here goes, had the through hull tranducer fail recently on my S28, marina wanted £150 for lift out likewise for lift in, *^%$£"S ! i thought as only just had her out. Anyway solved by putting the new item in a piece of drainpipe epoxed to the bottom of hull, 5 min job, 1/2 inch of SWMBO,s baby oil (say no more!) and hey presto works perfectly and easy to change.

can you come up with a better solution re two and a quarter planking through hull.
oh and you can tell us what swmbo uses the baby oil for ......

Had a similar problem!

Just epoxied the new transducer to bottom of hull!
