The latest large scale Admiralty chart unless the Poole Harbour commissioners publish anything more recent

My impression is that depths in this channel can vary from year on year so charted depths may well be out of date. The shallowest patch at the moment seems to be around EL3 and EL4 buoys.In our boat which draws 1.55m I normally look for a minimum of 0.9-1m tidal height, otherwise we go around via S Hook and the Swash Channel. In any swell especially if there is a SE wind the waves in E Looe can build up so it's better to add some additional safety margin.

I seem to remember reading that 1m has been recorded but as this channel is not maintained it can't be relied upon.
