i booked a week,s holl for this week with the sole intention of towing Thanks Mum to hamble for a week of "aquatic muckin about"!!... however, the weather goods said that for the foreseeable future, 1hrs nice weather must be paid for by 9hrs of cold and/rain/or both...with swmbo in one ear, saying well "are you going or are,nt you"?? 10 times aday every day, made a positive move and rang mercury to cancel berth booking this morning to be told, "weather is cr*p here"!! more misery !! ......... all this has 2 VERY LARGE PLUS,s.... 1,save a mint on fuel !!!!!....... 2, rest of the week to dribble n fantasize about that BBCweather perfection delivery service known as LAURA TOBIN !!!!!!!!! mmmmmmmmmm swoooon dribble etc etc etc

Aww Steve that sucks. Chris has booked this week off aswell and the weather couldn't be worse. 2 weeks before it picks up by the looks of the forecasts I'm afraid.

That cannot be right - I am off to Greece on Saturday for two weeks sailing. So you can expect the Solent summer to start on Sunday!!

Had a great weekend, but on the run home yesterday Angela was not happy with the beam sea!! If you'd have been @ Mercury you'd have seen the funny colour she was when we arrived home!!

Umm, looks like a nice ridge of high pressure building in from the west on Friday just in time for the weekend. Up until then... well, best off doing a spot of shopping.

The forecast yesterday said friday good, sat and sunday rain. Just looked at it now and it says fri sat and sunday good and sunny with a high of 19. How in Gods name we're supposed to plan anything I don't know! Tomoro it'll probably forecast snow!!

Yep me, ever since my boat went back in the water early April that was it for any good weather. For the 4 weeks out of the water, every weekend seemed perfect to be out there.
