The key word is genuine.
I use a 16kg for the last 4(?) years and I wouldn't change it!
It's one of the first Simpson-Lawrence ones, before Lewmar bought the product. Friends that use "identical" hand-made S/S ones are not that satisfied...

i use a 7.5 kg Bruce with 30m of 8m/m chain spliced to 30m of 16 m/m octoplait on the east coast all on 37ft boat @ 7 tons. we do have a 35Lb CQR + loadsa warp as yet unused stowed below a Q berth for 28 yrs [ waits to get shot down ]
