Hi All, I'm new here so please be gentle!

I am buying an old Dell Quay Eurosport 15. She is in good condition and ready to use with a 70hp Evinrude ourboard but has no decals on any more.

My plan is to bring her back to fresh by rubbing back and waxing the hull, fitting a new steering wheel, new windscreen, recover the seats and also fit new decals/stickers. Does anybody have any ideas where I might get the decals/stickers from or of anybody who might be able to produce something similar from a photograph?

Regards

Mike

Almost bought one of those myself a few years back, a good looking small dory almost matching the equivalent Boston Whaler but at a fraction of the cost. There must be lots of internet firms that could do the decals for you. Funky Monkey has been recommended quite a few times on here, I've used them twice and been very happy with the product and service.

Hope your renovation work goes well. Maybe post a few pics?

Thanks for that - I'll take a look. I will definitely put some pictures up when she is complete. Likely to do some of the work this year and some next year. Run down, polish, decals, wax and new steering wheel this year I think.

Hi
Huge fan of the Fletcher based hulls and having just renovated an older Arrowsport 16 (likely a very similar hull), I can tell you it was well worth while.
The Fletcher owners club has some useful info and Fletcher certainly used to be very helpful.
You can also get decal kits on eBay, last time I checked...certainly for the Fletcher stuff anyway.
With regards to "rubbing back" the hull, I found the best results were had from the 3m marine fibreglass restorer and wax. Great stuff and the sturdy gelcoat of the Fletcher took it well.
Just realised you may be wondering why I am rambling on about fletchers....but they are from the same stable, you are probably aware anyway.
All the best and can't wait to see the pics.
